Graduation Requirements
Students who successfully complete Senior High School program are awarded a high school diploma from Prince Edward Island Department of Education and CIS Tokyo.
In senior high grades, schools operate on a credit system. This system allows for individualization of student timetables. Each course credit consists of 110-120 hours of instructional time. The pass mark for each school subject is 50 percent. To graduate, students must have at least 20 course credits.
- 5 at grade 12 level (600 level)
- 2 Mathematics
- 2 Science
- 2 Social studies including 1 Canadian content credit
- 3 English including 600 English course
- 1 Innovation/ Creativity
- 1 Credit in CEO
- 1 PE 401A Credit
